Bradley is a small architectural home situated in the heart of Spring Hill, an inner Brisbane suburb. Occupying a modest 125 square meter site, Bradley effortlessly marries tradition with modern living. Tasked with the challenge of transforming a small timber cottage on an even smaller site, our objective was to create a luxurious yet practical residence—a sanctuary for our clients during their stays between travels.

Bradley’s core lies in seamlessly integrating contemporary living into the traditional character of the existing cottage. Navigating the constraints of limited space, we maximized every square meter within the original structure. A subtle contemporary addition at the rear not only expanded the spatial footprint but also introduced a touch of modernity, volume and light.

Within Bradley’s walls, the challenge of size transformed into an opportunity for innovation. The result is a compact yet refined dwelling that encapsulates the benefits of a freestanding home within easy reach of vibrant city amenities.
